A class of residential property owners filed a class action in New York federal court against JP Morgan Chase claiming the nation’s largest bank has a pattern of failing to timely file mortgage satisfactions, encumbering thousands of properties and blocking the closure of deals.  The named plaintiff, Tina Bellino, alleges that JPMorgan Chase took more than 40 days to record the satisfaction of the mortgage on her property in Tarrytown, New York, after she sold the property and paid it off.
